CCD

CCD Classes are held on Monday evenings from 5:00 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. during the school year.  These classes foster the growth of the knowledge of Christ and His teachings in a positive Catholic setting.

This program is held for grade-school students (1st through 8th grades) who attend either public or private schools other than our Holy Cross Parish grade school.  As needed, CCD classes prepare students for reception of sacraments of initiation (Baptism, First Holy Communion and Confirmation).  There is a very close connection between the sacramental preparation of our CCD students and our Holy Cross day students.

We are happy to invite our Holy Cross families with children in grades 1-12 to register for CCD classes this 20-21 school year. Classes will be held in the fall to spring on Monday nights from 5:00-5:45 p.m. At 6:00 p.m., students are welcome to attend Mass with their family. The Catechists will follow the Spirit of Truth curriculum. Textbook and materials will be free of charge. If you have any questions, please contact Jody Bohman at ccd@holycross.org To register, please click the link below by July 31st.

If you wish to register your child for CCD, please call the Parish Rectory at 859-431-0636.

Volunteers are needed to either teach or assist other teachers.  The most important qualification is an enthusiasm for working with children in passing on our faith tradition.  If you wish to volunteer, please call the Parish Rectory at 859-431-0636.
